Collaborating and Working Remotely: Advice from a Nonprofit Communications Director Who’s Done It For Years

Anna Mullen and her colleagues at the National Farm to School Network have always worked remotely. She shared some great advice on doing so successfully with others in her cohort of the Communications Director Mentoring Program last year. The advice was so great, I asked Anna to share it more broadly.

So, she recorded this 20-minute video for you. You can also see her slides here, as well as a blog post that the staff wrote together: Our Top Tips fro 12+ Years of Remote Working.

I’ve been working at home for more than 20 years and I still found Anna’s presentation helpful. If you are struggling at all with internal communications or collaboration while you and/or others are working remotely, this is for you.

Thanks for sharing, Anna!
